frequently asked

questions

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we are licensed, bonded, and insured.

Why is a design a worthwhile investment?

Having a design is an integral part to a successful outdoor renovation.  A design ensures everyone is on the same page, including the client, the designer, and the installation team.  This saves time and prevents confusion during installation, which ultimately saves the client money due to lower labor expenses. Having a detailed design from the beginning also helps the final result look more cohesive and leads to a better use of space.

Where do you purchase your plants?

We purchase our plants from a variety of nurseries in San Diego and Orange County.  We do not buy plants from large retail stores. Plants are guaranteed for six months, as long as you sign up for our maintenance and enhancement program during that time.

What is your maintenance and enhancement program? how does it differ from other landscaping maintenance services?

We have heard so many clients tell us their landscaper barely spends any time on their property. They mow the lawn, blow the leaves, and run off to the next property. Our Maintenance and Enhancement program is a much more detailed approach to yard maintenance. We make sure your outdoor space looks pristine and is being cared for properly.

In addition to simply mowing lawns and blowing leaves, we prune trees, fix irrigation issues, and complete enhancement projects, including smaller-scale planting projects.  We limit the number of clients we service in a day so our landscapers are able to give your property the time and attention it deserves.

Another key difference to our approach involves the training our technicians receive. Our Lead Maintenance Gardener left the San Diego Botanic Garden to work with us. He pays attention to every detail and understands exactly how to help your garden thrive.

can a well-landscaped property help me sell my home?

A well-landscaped property is much more appealing to a potential buyer than one that hasn't been maintained.  If the yard looks unkept, buyers may assume that the homeowner has let other maintenance projects slide as well.

Landscaping has the power to transform the buyer's experience by instantly making them feel comfortable in a space. Outdoor features such as outdoor kitchens, waterfalls, and trees help buyers envision their family creating memories in that home for years to come.  It is also important to note that landscaping makeovers offer a stronger return on investment compared to kitchen and bathroom remodels.
